Committed to Excellence
In Musical Performance, Community Outreach,
& Educational Opportunity
The Naperville Winds’ mission is to serve as a national pillar of exemplary wind band performance and as a community leader of musical literature awareness and education for youth in northern Illinois. Our vision is to bring the most outstanding works of wind band repertory to the mainstream. We maintain the highest musical integrity standards and expectations to foster a culture of excellence among our musician-members. We are committed to providing robust educational experiences and opportunities for youth in the Chicagoland region by sharing our stage with high school bands, particularly those that represent socioeconomically marginalized communities.
The Naperville Winds will honor our veterans and celebrate the holiday season with our first annual “Veterans Salute & Holiday Spectacular!” Come experience the power and emotion of the full forces of both The Naperville Winds and the Naperville Chorus as we combine to celebrate those who served (or are currently serving) our nation and usher in the “most wonderful time of the year.” All veterans–retired, active duty, reserve, and national guard members of the six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces–receive 50% tickets.
