For Plainfield East High School, parking can be found near the front entrance circle drive off of Naperville Road (turn at the main sign) or in the back lot off of Rodeo Drive. For Wheaton College, parking can be found on Irving Ave in front of the Edmund Memorial Chapel east of the Armerding Concert Hall with additional parking available on Kenilworth Ave. directly across from the concert hall.

Elevator access and ADA/wheelchair accessible seating is available at the Armerding Concert Hall on both levels while some ADA/wheelchair accessible areas are available at the Plainfield East High School Auditorium. If you need assistance, please be sure to ask one of our ushers for help.

Seating

The Naperville Winds concerts are exclusively general admission. We recommend
patrons arrive roughly 30-45 minutes prior to the start of the concert to accommodate
parking, ticketing and seating needs.

Food and Beverage

No food or drink is permitted in any performance space. We ask that you please
consume any food items prior to entering the hall.

Devices/Photography

As a courtesy to the performers on stage and other audience members, The Naperville
Winds appreciates the silencing of all electronic, smart and other noise-making devices
for the entirety of the performance.

Non-flash photography is permitted for personal use (tag us in your photos on social
media!). The use of audio-visual recording devices is prohibited during the performance.

Concert Experience

Groups and Young Guests

The Naperville Winds welcomes groups and young concertgoers. Reserved group
seating is not available. Group sizes larger than 10 should allow for ample time prior to a performance to accommodate sitting together.

We welcome the opportunity to share the joy of music with young concertgoers.
Generally, concerts are best-suited for children ages 10+. Balcony seating tends to be a
bit more exciting for younger patrons, as all instruments are visible. We respectfully ask
that if your child becomes restless or disruptive during the performance that you
remove them from the performance space. There are lobbies on both levels of the
concert hall and water fountains on the main level.

Concert Recording

The Naperville Winds concerts are professionally recorded and use expansive arrays of
microphones around the concert hall. We ask audience members to refrain from talking
during the performance and be aware that even the slightest noise is amplified. If you
must leave during a performance, we ask you do so in between pieces/during applause
breaks to minimize background noise.

When to Applaud

Your applause is greatly appreciated at our concerts! For musical works with multiple
movements or sections, we kindly ask you refrain from clapping until the piece concludes. Still not sure when to clap? You can tell a multi-movement piece is over
when the conductor turns to face the audience.
