The Naperville Winds believe music transcends boundaries and touches the hearts of people from all walks of life. Throughout four seasons of existence, we’re proud of our impact:
- Enriched the lives of our 1200+ average annual audience members as well as those listening to albums on a variety of music streaming platforms
- Supported music education in our schools by enabling high school and middle school bands across the Chicagoland area the opportunity to perform in shared concerts for a large concert audience
- Provided rehearsal & performance experiences that fostered a culture of excellence amongst our 70+ unpaid musician members including a performance at Carnegie Hall
- Achieved recognition from the City of Naperville as a grant recipient from the city’s Special Events & Cultural Amenities Commission
Our financial expenses include:
- Performance & rehearsal venue rental fees at various locations in Chicagoland
- Recording & production fees that help us produce high quality recordings to deliver our performances to a wider audience
- Music & instrument rentals used in our performances
While we do sell tickets to our performances, tickets sales do not fully cover our expenses, so your donation will enable us to:
- Organize High-Quality Concerts: Your support will help us create exceptional musical experiences that resonate with our audiences and showcase the talent of our ensemble members.
- Support Music Education: By helping us support K-12 music education, you will contribute to nurturing the next generation of musicians and helping them discover & build their artistic dreams.
